He speaks and sings fluent Polish. Son of an Indian father and Polish mother. They met in an English as a Second Language class in Chicago, Illinois. They are divorced. Performed improv at Second City in Chicago. Worked as an actuarial recruiter until being cast as Abed in "Community" (2009). Met his wife at Marquette University where they both graduated as Communication majors in 2001.
